The first stop for all avid tourists of Acqua City. This little center has a multitude of tourist paraphernalia including maps, little trinkets, and guide books.
Anything in here is free although the information of the race and such might be considered slightly misleading.....
Origin of the Acqualish The venerable people of Acqua can trace their lineage back to the founding race of the Universe. The article goes on and on from this sentence about how the Acqualish single handily took part in every major galactic event of the last several thousand years...........

It felt weird. The sun, the smell of the waters, the way her tail had almost looked as if it were evaporating. Thankfully Ookean had had to sit when she arrived in the city, or she would have been flat on her face. Her eyes loomed around, the were half closed because of the bright light. She was not used to this warmth, no used to the light or anything as such as this. She could barely see, though her instincts told her to wait a moment to let her ocean blue and green eyes adjust. She did just that. Soon she was able to fully open her eyes, and she saw wonderous things, though for the moment, she was still unable to stand.

With a loud bang, Ookean hit the ground. She had tried to stand, but her attempt failed miserably. She sighed as she tried again. After what seemed like a life time she decided to just sit for a moment, and catch her breath. Beings she had never seen before were walking past her, giving her odd looks, though she ignored them. It wasn't her fault that she couldn't stand. She had never walked on these things before, well, in all actuality, she had never even walked, not once. It was interesting to try though. She liked a challenge, and this was definitely challenging.

Trying again, Ookean found herself actually standing. Her legs were shaking, and the fight that she had endured trying to do what should have been a simple task, was tiring her out. She dared not take a step forward, at least, not yet. She refused to land flat on her face infront of everyone again. She hoped that just standing would strengthen her frail legs. It was quite embarrassing being the only Aqualish that couldn't walk on two feet. She watched as her kind passed her, doing the task with ease, but then again, they had probably been doing it for a hundred years.

She sighed as she waited for the strength to come, though she was unsure on whether it would or not. Perhaps it wasn't strength she was trying to find within herself, perhaps she was trying to find an instict that would allow her to walk. "Voimatu." She said in a low mumble, and her speech was probably correct. Perhaps it was impossible, but it wouldn't stop her. Instead of instict or strength she decided to look upon another of her qualities. Her willpower. She was stubborn and that would hopefully allow her to walk. She took one step forward, lifting her leg up high and then placing her foot down on the ground. "Ma tegin seda!" She did it! She took her first step and shouted with happiness, causing people to look in her direction.

Imagine someone walking on the moon, lifting their legs high in the air, and forcing back down. Now imagin a tiny, frail, white skinned girl walking like that through a town. Sure, Ookean was proud, she was walking! However, everyone else was giving her strange looks. She didn't pay attention, but had she seen some of the looks that she was getting she would have calmed her legs down a few notches. She made her way to a small building that read, 'Tourist Center.' She only knew what it said because she was fluent in many different languages.

Ookean opened the door and made her way inside. She looked around for a moment and then spoke. "Tere, oh, uh, I mean, Hello?" She called out but no one answered. She waited for a moment and then decided she would look around. It was filled with trinkets and many different books that she had not seen. They were guide books. She took one off of the shelf and flipped through it. As she put it back down her eyes searched. She was looking for a map of the grand city. She needed to find a docking station, that was her one way ticket out of the place, off of Acqua, and good ridence for that!
