Many elements, attacks and/or techniques have the ability of causing different status ailments to hinder your character. It is wise to grasp a knowledge of these ailments well so you may learn how to cure them easily if and when your character is subjected to them.
Androids are immune to all status effects. Various other races have immunities to one or several status effects.
Blind
-Miralukans are constantly afflicted with the blind status effect
-Those afflicted with blind cannot see. Hearing is heightened while one is afflicted with blind.
-Cured by artificial tears (Eye Drops)
Burn
-Burns vary depending on the severity of the attack that inflicted it. On average, weak attacks cause only minor burns while strong attacks cause moderate-severe burns.
-For minior-moderate burns no stat decreases are applied. They are just small inconveniences to add to the damage dealt by the initial blow. These burns heal after a day (real time)
-For severe burns, Fighting Skill is divided by two as the one afflicted by the burn is concentrating on the burn rather than fighting. Armor can fuse to skin when subjected to severe burns. You must visit a hospital to heal these burns and get your Fighting Skill back.
-Cured by burn lotion (White Lotion)
Seizures/Convulsions
-Nasty status ailment. Typically caused by attacks dealing with lightning or electricity. Causes the afflicted body part to flail uncontrollably for a set amount of time (Stated next to the technique which caused it). Causes the limb or part to be completely useless for the amount of posts the effect lasts.
-Cured by Anti-epileptics (Red Pills)
Poison
-Rapidly depletes the victim's essence. Stats lowered by a quarter of a point for each post they make while poisoned. Stats go back to normal once the poison is gone. Poison lasts a set amount of time (Varies depending on how the victim was poisoned).
-Cured by Antidote (Liquid that is drunk)
Frozen
-Can effect one limb or a person's entire body. Amount of time frozen depends on the location they are in, temperature, and strength of whatever it is that froze them.
-Cured by Thaw-Salt (Salt sprinkled over afflicted areas)
