Small channels of water with which the Mull live off of. The water channels are located all throughout the Underpass.

Nagrom Sol could be seen leaning against one of the pillars next to a small stream. The ceiling of the cave had numerous stalactites in the area he was relaxing in. Water dripped from the tips of the stalactites, and the faint sound of each drop hitting the stream or the rocky floor of the cave prevented total silence. The light noise was actually quite calming. What is there for me if I am not a Vanguard? Nagrom's thoughts were on the ascension ceremonies of the next elder of his tribe. The Elder was to choose their Vanguard, and Nagrom was left in the dark as to whether he was going to be able to continue his job.

Still, Nagrom Sol would not let his uncertainty stifle his training or his commitment to his village. He got to his feet and walked over to the stream. He knelt down and dipped his snout into the water and took a drink. He rose from the water and stood up, "Gaea, you have my gratitude for giving me a place to drink." Nagrom turned from the stream after that and started walking back through the caverns toward his village.

His footsteps echoed through the caves as he trekked across the rocky floor. Perhaps I should head to the central government instead of heading back to my village. He thought as he stopped for a moment to reconsider his current course of action. Yes...that would be best. The ascension ceremonies will happen tomorrow. Maybe I can find something out today.

Nagrom followed the path of the tunnel he was currently in only until he came to a junction in the caverns. He turned to his left and headed towards the Government area instead of heading back to his home. He would keep a relaxed pace, not being in any particular rush since the actual ceremony didn't happen until tomorrow. If something were to happen today, the Government would likely still be active.

He remembered overhearing the head Mystic of his village...er...the previous head Mystic...talking about a long journey of some sort and asking the other five Mystics from the other villages who they would send. That definitely piqued his interest despite the fact that he felt somewhat guilty for listening in on the conversation. He couldn't have avoided it at the time, though, so there was no real harm done in his mind.

Where could the journey possibly be to? A treacherous trek across the surface of the planet would be my kind of challenge, but I cannot think of a purpose for such a journey. Or perhaps they found a spire to the sky so that we can finally establish constant communication with the people of the clouds. Nagrom's head was filled with possibilities of what this 'journey' could be.

He climbed across the stalagmites in the rougher part of the tunnel he was in. The stalagmites had become like small spiked mounds because they were so thick and numerous. This mound spanned the entire bed of the cavern and was nearly five times as long as Nagrom was tall. That was saying a lot since Nagrom wasn't small by any means. It took him several minutes to make it across the sharp rocks safely.
