Yu-gi-oh: New Millenium

Fifty years after the end of the original Yu-gi-oh series, a cult excavated the pharoah's tomb, and, found the millenium items. Using their magic, they combined the powers of the Millenium items and created a new millenium item with the power of all the original items. However, they found that the spirit of the Millenium Amulet could not be controlled. They were never heard from after that.

Then, one hundred and Fifty years later, the current CEO of Kaiba Corp, Meko Kaiba, funds his own excavation, uncovering the tomb and the millenium amulet. However, he ends up waking the spirit of the millenium amulet - A powerful, semi-sentient monster of Darkness. Using his deck, Meko attempts to destroy the spirit, but, to no avail. Then, he uses a polymerization card to try to fuse two of his monsters together, however, due to the powerful magic in the tomb, he and the spirit of the millenium amulet end up getting fused together into a new entity. One that's Evil, powerful, and, cunningly intelligent. He pretends that the spirit was destroyed, and, continues being the CEO of Kaibacorp. But, at the same time, he has his own plans for the world...
